This afternoon a group canceled their 7PM reservation TONIGHT (November 30, 2007) for all six of our kettles due to illness. We were able to reschedule them for mid January but this creates a singular opportunity. This is the only kettle reservation available in the evening that will get you back to bottle before Christmas! If you can react quickly, call us to book any or all of the six. Whenever I see *anything* that might be of value, I drag it home and try to find a way to use it for brewing. Yesterday, I inherited a 7 foot high rack similar to the ones used to rack servers in a data center. Any ideas what this could be used for? I already have a brew rack I really like. I have to find a use for it before my wife tells me to get it out of my basement.

Hello all i have been searching the net looking for help with water treatment & noticed there are a few knowledgable people on here anyway here is my water profile. Ca /23 Mg /0.8 Na / 3.4 S04 /5 Cl /43.9 HC03 / 8.8 Ph/ 7.2 Very soft water as far as i can tell using John Palmers Excel Sheet my RA is -9.7 suitable for beers 4 - 9 SRM. Unfortunately i prefer amber or darker coloured english beers i have noticed i often get low mash PH 4.9 as far as i can tell with PH papers. I do get good mash read more »
