Kansas City, or to be more specific, Overland Park, Kansas, is a regular stop on my business-travel itinerary, along with Atlanta. Im getting to be pretty familiar with the beer offerings here, having discovered the wide range of BOULEVARD BREWING beers, from the pedestrian to the obscure, as well as side trips to McCOYS PUBLIC HOUSE and a variety of beer-vending markets like Lukas Liquors and even the venerable Whole Foods. read more »

75th Street Brewery is the perfect neighborhood brewpub. The regulars in the place are friendly to everyone and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The stout and IPA's are excellent and the raspberry wheat is a great summer beer.
They tap a cask beer every other Friday night and the cask doesn't last long. The seasonal beers are a bit spotty and not super adventurous but overall worth a try.
75th Street is also family friendly as well as a great place to go for drinks. The bar is large and well separated from the dining area. read more »

This was my second and is not going to be my last visit to 75th street brewery. Other than the limited parking the place is great. Their std IPA is very good they also had an ESB that was nice, but a little watery, they also had a belgian ale on tap which tasted good as well. The food is great, broad menu of great choices. The staff is polite, patient and very knowledgeable. It fun but family friendly as well. read more »
Ex Desparatus Tonight at 5:00pm What's in a name really? The first time the Master Brewers at 75th Street Brewery sampled this beer, they realized that a simple or clever name would never do this beer justice. "Ex Desparatus, a votum pro spes" is a Belgian style pale ale that pours a dark copper color with an aroma of coriander, malt and a slight hint of yeast. The taste profile reveals a higher than normal carbonation followed by coriander and a touch of noble hops. A malty finish rounds out t read more »
