Visited Nodding Head hoping to sample the Berliner Weisse and Scottish Ale. Unfortunately they were out of the Scottish Ale at the time, but started with a pint of the Berliner Weisse. They serve their beer with a green woodruff syrup (as is the custom in Berlin) unless you specifically request otherwise. For those who have never tried a Berliner Weisse before, I would recommend trying it without the syrup first. Their Berliner is less sour than Kindl Weisse, which should make it a great introduction for newbies. You don't find this style brewed often, so take advantage of it and try a pint. read more »
