The Scullions at Hilden have been quietly turning out fine cask ales since 1981, to a largely indifferent local drinking public. Today, they are leading Northern Ireland's craft beer revolution and, while still sending casks across the water to Britain for the guest ale and festival market, they also supply a couple of pubs in Belfast and are setting up a sister microbrewery -- College Green -- in the city itself.
The setting is beautiful: a short walk from Hilden railway station brings one up a tree-lined driveway to the courtyard surrounded by the big house and the converted farm buildings which now house the brewery and Taproom restaurant. It really comes into its own on the last weekend in August, when the annual three-day beer and music festival is held, with a range of guest beers from Britain and southern Ireland. read more »

I don't have the cassette to hand but it was probably all his Sun recordings, which is a damn good place to start with Elvis. read more »
